Six-time world champion boxer MC Mary Kom’s dream of second Olympics medal after her 2012 London Olympics medal was ended after her defeat to Ingrit Valencia of Columia in the Tokyo Olympics.
After her defeat, a video in which a girl was seen weeping went viral, and the boxer herself had shared it.
Sharing the video, Mary Kom had earlier expressed her desire to meet the fan.
“Dear sisters.. I will give you a hug and salute you if I got a chance for a meeting. If you are interested in any sports/boxing I will be very happy to help you,” she had written.

Now, the boxer located her fan and met her.
After meeting the fan, Mary shared pictures on her Twitter account.
“I’ve found my new fan and follower for boxing who really cheers and cried for me during #Tokyo2020,” she tweeted on Sunday (August 22).
