During the second one-day international match between India and Australia at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) on Sunday, people witnessed something lovely and wonderful.
A man, sporting the India jersey, proposed to his Australian girlfriend during the match and was featured on the big screen at the iconic venue.
The Indian fan was seen going down on his knees and handing over the ring to his girlfriend. And much to his delight, the woman said yes and the entire crowd cheered.
The incident took place when the Indian batsmen were in the middle chasing a mammoth 390 in the second ODI.

As the couple hugged and kissed after the big moment, their union was approved by Australian cricketer Glenn Maxwell, who watched the incident on the big screen. Maxwell clapped and applauded the duo, which can also be seen in the above video.
Videos of the proposal have now flooded Twitter, and people can’t stop gushing over the lovely incident.
Meanwhile, chasing a target of 390, India managed to score 338/9 to lose by 51 runs and also lost the 3-match ODI series 2-0 with a game left.
