After delivering the historic Ayodhya verdict, Chief Justice of India Ranjan Gogoi along with his would be successor will release the Assamese version of the book “Courts of India: Past to Present”, a publication of Supreme Court in Guwahati on Sunday, November 10.
Several judges of Supreme Court, Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal and Principal Director General of All India Radio news and Publication Division would also attend the book release program in Guwahati.
According a to report by AIR, the book has captured the historical developments which took place in the history of nation’s courts. The various chapters of the book narrates the historical events of the court.
Justice Gogoi also plans to settle in Guwahati after his retirement on November 17.
