Assam Actress Urmila Mahanta To Share Screen With Manoj Bajpayee In Upcoming Film 'Dial 100'

Assamese actress Urmila Mahanta will be seen sharing the screen with Bollywood actor Manoj Bajpayee in the upcoming film ‘Dial 100‘.

Dial 100 is an upcoming Indian Hindi-language thriller drama film directed by Rensil D’Silva and produced by Sony Pictures Films India, Siddharth P. Malhotra, and Sapna Malhotra.

The film also stars Neena Gupta and Sakshi Tanwar in the lead roles. The film will premiere on August 6 on ZEE5.

Urmila Mahanta, who plays the role of a police officer in the film also shared the trailer of the film on Instagram.

Urmila Mahanta hails from Sonapur in Assam. She did her entire schooling in Sonapur and later graduated from Dimoria College in Khetri, Kamrup. Mahanta spent her major part of life in Mumbai and then went on to enroll at the Film and Television Institute of India, Pune.

She had been acting in plays since her childhood and won many awards.

Mahanta worked in various plays, short films, television series and movies in several languages, including Assamese, Hindi, Bengali, Malayalam and Tamil.

She was last seen in Akshay Kumar starrer Bollywood film Pad Man (2018).
