After Saturday’s Bigg Boss Weekend Ka Vaar episode, host Salman Khan occupied the top spot on Twitter’s list of trends on Sunday, November 10, but not in a good way this time.
Salman Khan’s defence of contestant Siddharth Shukla did not go down well with a section of internet users. Fans of the show made ‘#BiasedHostSalmanKhan’ trend on Twitter for scolding Mahira Khan even as she was the one who was thrown on the ground by Siddharth during a task.
Over the week, Siddharth and Mahira engaged in a feud during a captaincy task and she injured herself as a result. In saturday’s episode, while schooling Sidharth, Salman asked Siddharth to keep his aggression in check. However, in his defence, Siddharth said that he did not touch Mahira. Mahira wasn’t willing to quit the task and neither was Siddharth.
Salman then instead of rebuking Siddharth over his statement, rebuke Mahira and said that she shouldn’t have engaged in the fight with Siddharth in the first place.
In another segment of the show, Salman Khan called out most of the contestants, including Mahira, for targeting Siddharth. When Mahira started crying over her fight with Siddharth Shukla, Salman Khan then said,”Yeh nautanki mere samne mat kia karo.”
Following which several fans sided with Mahira and made #BiasedHostSalmanKhan trend on Twitter.
