Michael Bennet, a youtuber who shared a surprising story in his youtube channel ‘nuggetnoggin’ finding a lost iPhone 6s underwater and realizing it still works has left many on the internet thoroughly amazed.
Michael, was diving in the Edisto River in South California when he found iPhone 6s, reports LADbible. The video shows Micahel and his friends discovering the phone that was placed inside a waterproof cover. He brings the phone back and when he removes its cover and realizes it managed to survived for 15 months in the water.
The video also shows Michael returning the phone to the actual owner; Erica Bennet turns out the phone held priceless messages from her late father that she thought she had lost forever.
“It was kind of emotional because the last thing I have from him is saying, ‘Hey I’m playing phone tag with you, so I just figured I just text you, how are you feeling?’ And I think he had called me after that. I’m pretty sure it was Father’s Day,” Erica Bennett told WDAM.com.
