Dressed in khaki uniforms, a group of young women police personnel from Northeast India are seen in a video urging people in distress to seek their help.
Recently these women cops from the Special Police Unit for Northeast Region (SPUNER) of Delhi Police got together for an informal lunch at a popular eatery serving cuisine from the region named “Dzokou Tribal Kitchen” located in New Delhi’s Vasant Kunj area.
Karen Yepthomi, owner of Dzukou Tribal Kitchen who hosted the gathering uploaded an inspiring video on Facebook where the women cops introduced themselves and asked the people of Northeast to contact them if they face any problem in New Delhi.

“We’re on duty 24X7,” said one member. “You can contact us in our helpline number anytime,” said another.
“Our Northeast helpline number is 1093,” said another.
