ICC Cricket World Cup 2019: Team India’s Orange Jersey To Be Worn Against England Officially Unveiled, See Pics

Nike the official apparel sponsor of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) have officially unveiled the orange jersey which India will be wearing in the match against England on Sunday in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019.

Team India’s away kit will feature Orange and Blue Colours.

“Team India will debut its first-ever Away Kit in Birmingham on June 30, 2019. The ODI and Away Kit designs launched this year are inspired by the young new generation of India and the fearless spirit of the national teams,” Nike said in a statement.

“Similar to the recently launched ODI Kit, the away kit is designed to enhance dynamic movements and modern requirement of the sport and the athletes,” it added.

The International Cricket Council (ICC) had introduced the concept of away kits, similar to football, so as there aren’t any similarities in jersey colours between opposition teams. England and India have similar shades of blue jerseys and with England being the home team, India will have to wear the alternate kit on Sunday.
